Listening to kid-talk can be both entertaining and confusing. It sometimes leaves me feeling stupid, not being able to understand a word. It's like passionately discussing KVM to a non-techie person. Let me share with you a few recent addition to Miguel's vocabulary.

The other night he said "mommy sing, payo--kid". I knew he was asking me to sing a specific song but I couldn't understand what. So after a few moments, noticing my confusion, he changed his request to "mommy sing tapacha." I was even more confused. I thought hard about the songs we recently sang and realized it was "paru-parong bukid....may payneta pa sya."

Last saturday, leah texted me that after Miguel played with her car, the wipers, the hazard lights and the headlights were all left on. I told Miguel about it and he never stopped recounting this story saying "hawdawd yayt on, headyayt on, yaypu on." At least these words sound clear to me. :)

And while at this time in my life I wouldn't bother when someone tries to discuss technical stuff with me, I can spend an entire day listening to Miguel talk and never tire. :)

Hahahahaha! Tawang tawa ko dito! "tapacha"?!? Grabe, kakaibang powers of discernment yun to realize it was paru-parong bukid pala.

Bili na kayong kotse, at ipasyal niyo na sa park yan. :)
