HK No More

Tickets have been rebooked, hotel reservation has been cancelled. Our HK trip is officially cancelled. I feel kind of sad yet relieved. It was a mutual decision to cancel our trip due to budget reasons. We have more important things to prioritize now and we feel that Disneyland can wait. Afterall, Miguel still has an aversion to unusual things so we thought he might not totally enjoy the trip. He still cries at the sight of clowns and mascots and he even goes pale and shivers if I get him near one. This is the main reason why it wasn't hard for us to decide to cancel the trip.

We've been talking about the Disney trip since June this year and somehow, it stays in his mind that he's gonna see Mickey. Since then, whenever he sees a new cartoon character, he would ask if he's gonna see it in Disneyland. Perhaps, he sometimes forgets that we're not pushing through with the trip anymore because he still asks if he will see something at Disneyland. Then I will have to remind him that we're not going. Guilty me. Nico felt guilty too when he was asked by Miguel the other night. He promised to bring him to Disneyworld someday. Miguel calls it the big disneyland. Now whenever he sees a new cartoon, he will ask if he's gonna see it in the big disneyland. We better save up for orlando vacations starting today.
