How 'Bout A House

I think I said it here more than once that whenever I step into a furniture store, I drool, I get excited and I feel I want to have my own house--now! Ikea, Home Center, Area (in Manila?), Our Home--all these stores make me want to own a house soon. We've lived in two different apartments in the last one and a half years yet we've had to content ourselves with the basic furnishings. No decorative items, the usual stuff that make a house homey. We decided to stick to the basic for two reasons--one is because we have a toddler who needs space to move around freely and second because we know we're not staying here for long. I know that when we get to our next destination, we will still have to rent an apartment. Maybe it'll take a few more years before we can get our own house. But who knows what the future may bring. Our short-term goal is to migrate successfully and in God's time, we'll be checking out mortgage insurance rates. :)
