...my laptop's been working crazy lately that everytime I click on a link or open a new window, another one will open at perfspot.com!

And I'm not interested with perfspot so it's becoming a nuisance now.

Has anybody experienced this? What's with perfspot? Is this something interesting, useful perhaps?

If you've dropped by recently, you may have noticed that my blog title and header have been changing quite often. I still couldn't decide on the perfect name and design for my blog. Add to that the fact that I'm struggling with customizations, hay! Can someone tell me how to edit html codes, in plain english please!

Dear, I was at The PictureBook Shangrila last saturday to have Miguel's photobook printed and they said you can have your layouts printed as a book as well as long as you give them the file in jpg format. Am excited na to see Miguel's photos in print. Post an update if you're able to have Enzo's photos printed ha? Enjoy. :)

Pardon the missing links in my blogroll. I just tried blogger's template customization feature and I'm a little lost, lol :)) Still in the development phase, peeps..will be back on decent publish mode soon. :)

Terrible colds is what I got from last weekend's out of town activities. I couldn't stop sneezing and my head is aching badly. I know I've got lots of tags to answer and few paid reviews to do and I owe a lot of blog visits too.

I'll do them soon, promise. I'll do what I can today.

I'm just thankful Miguel was spared from sickness. I wouldn't want another round of asthma attack. Please.

I'm finally able to update my blogroll today, yipee! :) Since posting the "shameless request" message in NAW, which fortunately became quite a long thread, I've gained new blogging buddies. Thank you ladies for adding my site to your blogroll too. If I missed any of you in mine, please buzz me off by leaving a message in this post. Unfortunately, I couldn't access the older messages in my shoutbox (I think cbox is down at the moment), so I couldn't check who else I need to add. Bear with me. Happy blogging everyone! :)

i am once again reminded of my attempt to scrapbook...and seeing all the wonderful layouts online, i am so tempted to indulge in some shopping! there is still some amount of discipline left in me though, that i haven't really given in to the lure. for now i content myself with the free kits i download online but they are so limited i crave for more of those accessories! here's one i did using a free kit from Shabby Princess-Kristie_SF:

Back during those months when I was doing our wedding preps, I had noticed that scrapbooking has taken formal launch as more and more of scrapbooking items were made available specifically at national bookstore. Gone are the days when a scrapbook could be made literally out of "scrap." The scrapbooking accessories I saw at the store had awakened this poorly developed artistic side of my brain and I had planned on starting this new hobby as soon as possible. Unfortunately though, something else had occupied my remaining few months in the Philippines that I wasn't even able to shop for all the needed accessories before I left for Dubai. I was hoping to be able to pursue scrapbooking here but to my dismay, the shops I have gone to don't have as much scrapbooking items as I had found at national bookstore and the few accessories available were not enough to inspire me to continue.

Due to the nature of my job back in manila and the fact that my beloved ex-employer has the strictest policy on internet access, I felt I was always lagging behind in terms of the newest trend on the net. In fact, I have known blogging since 2004 but was only able to start my own site this year! During the past 3 months, though, the net has been my most frequented place (oh the joy of having net connection at home!), and during one of those many afternoons I spent googling, I realized I could still pursue my scrapping plan through digi-scrapping! :) I got super excited and went on to research more about this new rave but was discouraged when I found out I would need to buy accessories online. I am never a fan of online shopping basically because my first ever experience wasn't reassuring at all—in 2002, I bought one year subscription to Harvard Business Review for my boss and ended up being charged twice! The double-charging was reversed after so many calls and emails and verification online (whew!). And that is why the first time I was introduced to digiscrapping I didn’t give it much thought.

Just recently I was organizing my files on the computer and realized that unprinted photos are piling up, taking too much space out of my C drive. This prompted me to revisit my interest on digiscrapping, besides, Nico was able to get us a copy of adobe photoshop. My first attempt was a bit discouraging as I was too intimidated by the many tools in photoshop. However, the free digital kits available online are simply enticing. I refused to allow the right side of my brain to be bequeathed to rust, thus, I carried on. My practice layout (below) is actually similar to the one I downloaded and this is because I chose to concentrate on learning how to use the photoshop tools rather than creating an original layout. The whole effort was exhausting especially when my PC runs too slow and since my wrist is oftentimes hurting. But the fact that I learned so much about photoshop by simply recreating this layout is enough to celebrate…there are tons of things to discover and I will carry on; I have only just begun.

from both our "points of view" (can you see the lovers back there having a picnic?) Posted by Picasa

we've been to this place many times before, and each time i'd say i would take a photo of the place at nighttime. never happened; i always got tired and wanted to go home before dusk. so today, i am recreating the sky at night. Posted by Picasa

just had my lunch--a very satisfying one! :) i'm a pasta lover and i especially like tomato-based over cream-based pasta. i've had my share of kitchen struggle as i usually end up having to eat either overcooked or bland food :) during our recent trip to the supermarket, nico introduced me to his new discovery- Dolmio Sauce for Pasta Bolognese! it's a ready to eat pasta sauce, the taste is so good you can add it to pasta straight from the bottle or add your fave meat--canned tuna, sausage or ground beef/pork... i don't need to be an expert cook to enjoy great tasting pasta! i say, you check if it's available in your supermarket and try it! :) Posted by Picasa

i have always been fascinated by sunset. who wouldn't be? at dusk, the sky seems to turn into a big palette of colors where God displays His artistry... surely, it happens everyday, but you will never find a moment when the sky is painted the same way twice, there is always something different-- always a reason to admire the awesome beauty of God's hand at work.

photos that i was able to capture just before the camera battery went dead (yeah! it died just in time for the much awaited last 5-minutes before the sun sets--sigh!)

mamzar beach park photo taken during our recent weekend getaway--don't know why, but it kinda reminds me of fra lippo lippi's "light & shade" :)

he will paint the light and shade the colours and the trees he will climb the steepest hill believing what he sees he will lay down on the ground beneath the old oak tree he will sleep forever if you try to set him free sail on the wings of a cloud where to, well nobody knows and cry, cry if you want them to see die every day to be free be proud to wear the colours that you call your own be loud, speak out when you want the world to know be strong, hold the flame for everyone to see be weak, if you want to love he will paint the endless sea a mystery to me he will reach out for the sun not dreaming what he sees he will fall down on his knees angel touching ground takes him to the other side sweet love is coming down

we're working on the hair..konting trim na lang pwede na ala-Forrest Gump hehehe :)

this is our neighborhood- photo taken from our flat's window :) usually peaceful; occasionaly disturbed by people who shout out stuff only they can understand (sigh!)

in good times...

and bad...hehe :)
